"Desert by Canoe" contemporary paper collage art

Desert by Canoe. I'm enjoying letting the collages build themselves. What I mean by that is not that the collages are random.  To the contrary, there are distinct themes, but they seem to emerge subconsciously while I spend my time making sure things work visually by inserting pieces by trial and error.  This seems to be the way to make interesting art: focus on the visual and let the theme emerge unforced.
