"Scratch Hermit Crab" found-object sculpture

"Scratch Hermit Crab" is a very early piece.  I made it in the 5th grade, in the last art class I had in school.  I was constantly looking at animals and natural history books back then, especially in school, so the subject is fairly typical of what I sketched.

My mother had kept this drawing packed away all these years and pulled it out last Christmas.
