"Purple Eve" contemporary figurative painting

When my wife Darlene leaves for work in the morning, my cat Roy goes to the front door and cries.  Then he sits on the back of the sofa and looks out the window for her.  He watches the driveway all day long waiting for her to come home.  When she returns in the evening, he gets all excited and starts racing from one end of the house to the other.  On the weekends, he follows her around as she cleans, unless she brings out the vacuum.

I've noticed that our other animals seem to have similar levels of affection for Darlene as well.
