Selected Artwork 2003 through 2006

The art in this gallery was completed during the years 2003 through 2006.  This is the same period that Joe Moorman built the online business Mosaic Art Supply and began working on his art full-time.  Much of this time was spent learning the fundamentals of painting by trial and error.  Although Joe had always created art in various media such as wood carving and sewing and drawing, it wasn't until this period of intense painting that Joe began to refer to himself as an artist.  Ironically, Joe would not work very much in any of his more familiar media during this initial phase of "finally being an artist."
